An islet of country calm and quiet at the gates of Paris
This house, newly constructed, is conceived in the spirit of Le Verger sous les Vignes in Burgundy. It is built on one of the hills in the south of Paris, with a stunning view of the Bièvre Valley and of Paris (the Eiffel Tower and the Tower of Montparnasse guaranteed); a real garden; and a surprisingly relaxing environment.
A private home for each one
This house was conceived to give the guests the feeling of living in a private home, because it is the best way to visit Paris without having the inconveniences: tiny spaces, noise and the imposed hours (hotel):
-- In addition to a spacious bedroom with view (and, of course, bathroom) the guests have full access to the house beginning with the garden and its number of little spaces; of a large kitchen and a pantry with their own refrigerator, allowing them to prepare their breakfasts and other meals at the hours that are convenient to them; a large dining room that opens onto the garden and a large living room nearly sunkeninto the garden!
-- These spaces are shared between the occupants of 4 other bedrooms and the spaces are large enough so that the guests can cross paths if they want or never meet the others if they prefer … as at Le Verger.
A place of enchantment
The spectacular 270° view, the absence of facing neighbors, the pleasant and peaceful neighborhood of the Coteau (such as it is named) where the houses and their little gardens are connected by little walking paths – these are the ingredients for a charming calm so close to Paris… And all the spaces of the house benefit from this, but it is the large studio (40m2) with its terrace (60m2) placed on the upper floor (the penthouse) that is totally enchanting because of the perfect illusion of being suspended in the sky!
With or without a car: an exceptionally easy access to Paris
With Car: The house has private parking which makes this location, very well served by national roads and highways, very accessible for those travelling by car. It is in fact very simple to arrive at the Maison du Coteau by car, and then to go to Paris either by car (4 minutes to Porte d’Italie and to the new tramway), or by one of the numerous means of transportation that link the neighborhood of the Coteau in Cachan, to Paris.
Without Car: By foot: 10 minutes from the RER line B to leave and 20 minutes to return (because of the hill). This RER line crosses Paris from the south to the north in half an hour and stops at the stations of Saint-Michel/Notre Dame, Châtelet, the Gare du Nord and the Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport. -- 2 minutes by foot to the bus line that goes to Porte d’Italie. -- And a shuttle bus passes in front of the house every hour to go to the RER station of Cachan.
