Our wine cellar is essentially made up of wines from the Domaine Coche-Bizouard-Boyau. There are a number of reasons for this choice:
– A long experience with this winemaker and his products, remarkable for their ongoing quality
– A palette of wines coming from various "terroirs" including the most prestigious of Burgundy (Meursault, Auxey-Duresse, Monthelie, Saint-Romain, Pommard);
– And finally, the son has taken the tradition passed down by the father, carrying forward his touch.
So it is possible starting from the wine cellar of this winemaker, to have an introduction to the quality wines of Burgundy, and to learn what is known as the "touch of Burgundy".
The Pub
An initiation to wine tasting takes place in our facilities, by one or several associates of Le Verger sous les Vignes who, without being professionals, are big amateurs. A full initiation is done with three white wines and three red wines, lasting between 2 and 2:30 hours at the cost of 30 euros per person (includes a Pommard and a Meursault). It is also possible to do an initiation with four wines, for 20 euros. These initiations require a minimum of four people. A "wine seminar", lasting several days with visits to wine cellars, meetings with winemakers and visits to the historic sites can be arranged on request.
